Was there any issue with fitment or was it a case of remove 2 pots, slide off disc... slide on larger disc, install 4 pots?

Could you have used the 4 pots with the 277mm calipers?

Just curious

Vic members - I need some help!

Hey guys, I'm trying to get my spare car roadworthy and sold but more things turned up in the RWC than I anticipated and it's going to take me ages to do by myself. Is anyone who also knows their way around cars/liberties able to lend me a hand early next week? I need to have the car back to the mec...

The red vortex at immalachs is long gone, there is now a grey one down the end if that's what you're refering to? Didn't look carefully when I was there on Monday but interior looked mostly complete.

Good work, love the sig picture too!

Hey Taza - clear out your inbox!

Quick question - what year forester did you pull that suparu's new gearbox from? 4.11 final drive D/R with a 1.44 reduction gear?

Any idea what the transmission code is?

Cheers mate!

Owen.

Nice work with the painting mate!

All you need now is an EJ! Seriously, put at EJ18 or 20 in there... legal and awesome! You can get a full engine and computer from a pick a part for half of what subaru quoted you to fix your old EA... DO IT!

gen 1 liberty, gen 2 outback. Follow instructions on can. Found a vaccum hose that didn't cause the car to stall when removed and used that. liberty blew blue smoke everywhere for a few minutes at high revs, then calmed down and ran smoother. outback has made little difference, but I usually do it a...

Looking great rhys, and great write up too!

Your drive train is mint - very jealous! Have you managed to get out in the rain today with the lsd's? Curious as to how the front lsd went on road.

In what way are you expecting the oil feeder to make a difference?

TOONGA wrote:trannychartas it is called lists the 6 speed transmissions as having a 3.636 ratio first gear.
I'm pretty sure gen 1 and 2 dual ranges have a first gear of 3.545. So 3.545 x 1.19 = 4.218, or if with 1.59 l series low range then effective first of 5.63... is that calculation right?

Very nice car !! love the colour.. suits that model. I hear the 6 speed go very well behind them. No d/r but plenty of power to not worry about it. Paul, here's a question for you... any idea what the final output ratio would be for the 6 speed 1st gear compared to a 3.9 dual range 1st, in low rang...

Looks great mate! You'll be loving a proper low range for sure! Replaced the throttle postion sensor during all of this and its actually got more torque now even after going from a 4.44 to 3.7 diff ratio. How much was your TPS? How are the gear ratios feeling at 3.7? After switching to 4.11 I'd neve...
