From your description I would say fuel pump is knackered. How old is the pump? During high load the fpr will not bypass as much fuel. If the pump is worn out and it cannot keep up the pressure will start to drop in the rail. When you back off and pull over the pressure shoots back up and you can tak...

The sway bar mounts and sway bar-radius rod bushes were Nolathane branded. I actually got the links a few months ago (so I don't have the packet for the part #) because the passenger side had herniated out of the side and was clacking away. The LCA and Radius rod bushes I go off ebay a week or so ag...

New LCA, radius rod and sway bar bushes in the front of the MY wagon. Old ones were Rooted, it was playing havoc on my camber and chewing out my tires. Now they are neutral if not slightly negative, certainly close enough for me to adjust. Took a bit longer then I wanted but wasn't really hard. Cert...

Mine does the same thing after sitting for a week or so. Struggles to catch, then runs with what I believe is a foul'd plug for around 30 seconds, then clears up. Mine doesnt light the ECL light though. I thought it was injectors leaking but they were fine. My other thought was that the fuel pressur...

I will have a look into it for you. They went to the effort to re-trim the roof liner so maybe they put some thought into structural integrity as well.

That's awesome Tweety! Not many ea81's rolling around with that sort of whp. Nicely done. It's amazing how much info can be gathered from a simple exhaust gas reading. With your new cam you will have picked up more meat in your power curve. Peak hp numbers Mean very little to the driveability and fe...

No, no donor turbo bits Jonno. First thing to pop will most likely be head gaskets And piston lands. I've felt 7lbs now Jonno, there ain't no going back! I plan on tuning it up a bit better this weekend.

Thats a good Idea Jules, Il have a look into it. Might have to weld a 90 onto the outlet of the compressor. Yeah I should probably start a thread about it. Only the 4 injectors at the heads. I welded the bungs in myself (NOT for the faint of heart!). Its got a harley throttle body on it, also welded...

I'm sorry Mr Steptoe, I do have a few pics but it's a bit of a lashup at the moment. I wasn't even sure it would work. Seems as though it does I need to clock the compressor housing 180 degrees and mount up my intercooler. Also need an ej series throttle cable to go around the turbo and some heat sh...

No, though I will probably end up making a set. My exhaust is on its last legs as it is. I also installed a cheapo temp readout with relay and buzzer.. Adjustable alarm and relay close temps with adjustable historesis. Seems pretty good so far but I've only done about 10 kms with it.
