I've got an aftermarket oil pressure sender on there at the moment that i haven't hooked up yet.. I was gonna hook that up tomorrow with the temp guage aswell, but yeah good point that would definitely tell me if its working! I guess in theory you could also take the oil filter or oil pressure sende...

EA82 Oil Pump Priming

Hey Guys, I have rebuilt an EA82 carby and have just got it running today and it was ticking its nuts off which was expected but it didnt stop and got hot pretty quick.. I have a nasty feeling that the oil pump isnt doing its job and want know how to check if its working or how to prime the oil pump...

I already told Guy but i would love to come on this trip but i got soccer finals + my daily l series is no longer offroad capable.. I'll come if we organise another trip in the summer as my project l series should be running and ready by then.. hopefully :)

I had it once down south of wa around albany in my L the wind was going the same direction to the way i was driving on the "sand" and she was overheating.. and driving back it was fine. But plus 1 to having actual coolant and a working/suitable thermostat in.

I got my brake calipers back the other day and slapped them on but i lost all but one of the brake hose retainer clips.. have no idea how. probably put them somewhere and forgot where..
