Installing is very easy but in Western Australia a gas fitter must install the system and a compliance plate is needed to make the setup legal. TOONGA Yeah also if you have compliance plate by certified LPG fitter to cover your arse - discuss with your local LPG fitter but most of them I already kn...

Was the engine running before it was pulled out from the donor car? Is it manual/automatic? Does the noise improve when you accelerate gently? Since you did engine swap - I would be thinking if theres something in the bellhousing or flywheel area possibly rough. Get a long screw driver and have a li...

Did Subaru explain why it went so early?

IT could have gone worse then would have become un-drivable which you mistaken think that the clutch is gone but its the centre diff.

Might be easier to tell - 3 things: 1) Does the car have a button for raise and fall on the left from steering column? 2) Pop the bonnet, you'll see the strut towers, there should be either a black plastic covers, remove them - do you see any hoses/tubes going there? or just standard nut with bolt p...

so I currently have a impreza sedan with 205/55/16 91W tyres on them however I now want to change my rims. Many tyre shops have mentioned 16" are rare to find as they are not popular and have suggested to move to 17". If so what would be a relatively decent size that would not affect accleration an...

Hmm go for 3rd Opinion - Go to Pedders and get 28 point check basically they will give you a good report of what is wrong around that area. You will be shocked when they give you the report of what is wrong and what needs replacing. Only will cost you about $14 or something - its not expensive. Chee...

I had Gen2 and now Gen 4 - basically same costs for engine service etc maybe slightly higher but not much. I did test drive an H6 3.0 litre nice to driv...

G'day,
The cable position is incorrect, it should be on the right side of the shifter, if you leave it like that you'll notice shifting doesnt feel right as its rubbing.

Generally any auto from a Gen 2 Liberty (1994-1998, BD or BG chassis) should do the trick, as long as its the same ratio, 3.9 for FWD, 4.111 for AWD, 4.444 for Outback edit: A quick Google search reveals its from a 2.2L FWD Libetry, so should be a 3.9 ratio But can you post your VIN number that is ...

I woudnt be sure about the donut tank in the engine bay may not fit but worth considering. If you're planning on having straight gas, like someone said above, remove fuel tank and replace it to small gas tanks (You might be able to install 4 or 6) I'm considering about adding another gas tank for my...

I use LSD gear oil in both the gearbox and the rear diff - it might cost a little bit extra but the boys at the local parts joint tell me it will handle higher gearbox temps better than regular oil. I have noticed that the box is smoother to shift now. But as Gannon said, it probably makes sense fo...
