I remember seeing some on ebay once. pretty cheap I thought at the time. But I got no idea how much they were. My memory doesn't last that long
Sounds like fun though. Just remember to get laser cut door locks too. Wouldn't want anyone stealing that setup.

Ahhh, I don't care if you hijack it. At least people can see the first thred fine. Also. My bro thought, why have gauges on your pocket pc when that is for the GPS. How am I gonna be able to use the GPS and gauges at the same time? I think I have a much better setup concidering the price of all this...

Ok, maybe I'm wrong about subie drivers being poor. At least most don't seem to have the money for a good paint job. But who needs paint anyhow? Are you sure its "your" poor mans LSD? I've read about it in two other places. I've even seen a setup with 4 hand brakes, one for each wheel. Ahh, we...

The way I see it, with a vacuum gauge, and a ammeter (at the moment I have volt gauge in there, but I'm going to change it) you would need most of the parts out of the gauges anyway with the pocket pc. As in you can't just plug a vacuum pipe into the pocket pc (not that I know of anyhow  ) And ...

Hey, I'm not stressing, just wondering how I managed to say autos are no good offroad and not know it. I can't even read it in my post now, checked it twice. (maybe that is stressing, checking it twice) I'm not worried about being a "noob." Everyone starts somewhere. But the way I see it, if someone...

custom dash work.
I posted this on USMB the other day, so anyway, thought I'd share it here. After my CD player blow up I didn't want to spend $200 on a new one. And I just so happen to have a PDA with a 512mb SD stick. And I've been wanting to add some gauges too. Check it out here www.OffroadingSubarus.com This ima...

Hrmm. I can't vote for either option. Personlly I'd never buy an auto. I learnt in one and I hated it. My family has always been a manual one :-/... But you have a good point about the tyres. I just don't want to hear about that lazy stuff. If your too lazy to change gear, your too lazy to drive IMH...

hey jono, I have a gregory's manual too. I wonder if mine is too old, althought it does have a MY and a L series wagons on the front cover. But no where in it did it say anything about what I experianced with the heads. I talked to Steve at rising sun about it had he told me about the deul carb moto...

Thanks for the offer, but I use my mum's site. I have my own domain at http://www.offroadingsubarus.com if you want to see more.
7th is fine for me, day or night. If its night I'll bring my bro, his building up a 83 wagon. But he just lost his licence :-/

Hey, I'm pretty easy on when. I'd like to meet up with some fellow subie nuts. I was the one that tried to get everyone down the cape. :-/ I had alot of fun, with my bro and his YZ. I guess the board crashing didn't help. Maybe nexttime I'll try to get some people together and go to the one near the...

I get about 13L pre 100Km. or 7.6? km pre litre. This is with 27"ers 2" lift, and driving the GUTS out of it (which it doesn't seem to have much of) Also this is without a charcol filter, I've put on in and I'm redoing the tests. Remember tho. This engine is a real deul carb setup, not just the mani...

I have a problem with my fuse box. Some times the fuse for the radiator fan/radio doesn't make a connection, just have to pull it out and put it back in. Although now my radio is dead, so I can't tell if the fan is working or not. If you are going over 40kph you shouldn't need a fan at all, but idle...
