Second the snorkel, as the rains have started up here in NQLD, way way way late this year. When i was out there last year (Townsville to Alice Springs the scenic way) the roads are not to fun or very fun depends on your outlook when they are muddy.

Just going to throw this in to, The EA82 is a fair bit wider then the EA81 which may be a problem for what i can see of the exhaust in the pics and i believe it is deeper to thanks to the timing belts too. Might be worth a measure.

It is head gaskets by it using that much water. A subaru mechanic should be able to do it in like 8 hours from driving to driving. :)

Yes been running ok before , just had Distributor wires go. I am now thinking slightly blocked filter.

Just sorting out a the last of a problem i have been having with Clauida. (Details below) And the engine stalls or misses and cares on when you give it a bootful and let it drop back down to idle. Ie i basically wont idle. Any ideas???

The are way more fun to drive i have driven both back to back so to speak. It has to do with the flow. The intake and exhaust are about 25% bigger atleast. Roughly the standard EA81 is under 40mm where as a EA81S or dual port head is around 50mm. So therefore more air and fuel in and burnt stuff out...
