Any pics of the leaking bushes?

How does the car feel to drive?

Have you noticed a change in your power steering fluid level? As Subarino stated, there is some very good gear on the market to stop these leaks.

Ahem . . . that's Executive class thank you very much! Nah, might not have worked, the turn off to the field days was down the Gunderoo road, still would have caught the tail end. I was thinking there's a way from Yass that comes out behind the observatory near Uriarra crossing? Anyway, yo...

That's not a bad price, BFGs will be about $270 from memory.

Nankangs are cheaper I think but I don't think much of them.

LOL sounds like a very productive day then!! Actually I was lying down in the passenger seat when my wife exclaimed "Hey that's sure a nice Brumby!" I sat up just in time to see it, I was sure it was yours from what you'd described. Coming through that morining (from the Yass side) traffic was backe...

Yeah, sure sounds like you've done well and you can't complain about the wear rate I guess.

What other agressive off-road tires have you driven on to compare them to?

For a 2" lift, for someone who's experienced with fitting them and has a hoist, air tools etc at their disposal . . . 3 hours work max? Brett, what's your record? They are really very simple to fit with a trolly jack, jack stands and basic hand tools. Take your time - a first timer with minimal mech...

MY (when refering to pre-1985 sedans, wagons, coupes and all Brumbys) is a simple model designation, it doesn't stand for anything. In EJ series Subarus MY stands for Model Year. A more detailed explanation is available in the Tech Manual . BVCP is BaronVonChickenPants. He lives in Robertson. If you...

I had a friend with a Suzuki with 37s and a 1.6, he wrapped a rear leaf one day, destroying the rear uni on his tailshaft due to the obscene angle caused by the broken spring; I've seen similar things happen to leaf-sprung cars at the drag strip. Obviously your springs are strong enough and your tra...
