The last time I won an auction with a rediculous postage price I questioned them on who they were using etc, then I got a few quotes of my own and emailed them back and told him to use one of them as they were much cheaper. It worked! I am not sure who actually reserves the right to decide who and h...

The desert after the Hangi is actually a communal desert where everyone is asked to bring a desert of some description that all gets placed on the table to make a smorgasbord desert after dinner.

I used to have some nice pics of my EA82T that I posted ages ago on the old board but due to a hard drive failure I lost them, dont spose anyone out there would have a copy of them, it was the EA82T with the red inlet manifold and the polished SS crossover pipe and was on an engine stand at the time...

If done right there is nothing dodgy about it, especially if doing it to a two piece shaft as the weld will end up right at the end of the shaft where they would normally be welded anyway. Brett and I made the one in his RA EJ20T powered Vortex like this and it never broke, so I dont think an EJ22 i...

he real proof on the crapness of an EA82 is when you compare it to an EA81 and it loses on all accounts. It's less reliable Not according to RACQ needs a lot more maintenance I dont recall ever having to continually adjust the tapets on my EA82 (and costs a lot more to maintain) I thought plugs,lea...

LOL, I think they are all great motors, just dont expect too much from a motor when you dont know a great deal of its history thats all. I think the saying about not touching the bottom end was prolly pretty well on the mark 10 or so years ago when the motors were a bit younger, but not so these days.

It makes me laugh when I see people whinging about poor old Suby motors that could be anywhere up to 20 years old because they are starting to have issues, for the first 15 years of its life it probably never missed a beat, give the thing a bit of credit. I think the problem probably lies right here...

With out giving away to many secrets, you can use either the 3.9, the 4.11 or the 4.444 diff , the rear must be changed to suit ofcourse. I too have an EJ22 into Brumby conversion about to happen but am going to be fitting an L Series AWD box with the manual locking centre diff, best of both worlds ...
