Remove it and resolder any dry joints on the circuit board. Resistors 1, 2, 3, and 4 are the main culprits

I dont know much about it, but why are you worried about them retaining your data or the data from this site? 99.99% of the data will be of no interest to them, but if the data collected helps prosecute people who are dealing child porn or plotting a terrorist attack, I dont see the issue. If you ar...

Cos its twin scroll? I actually haven't driven at more than idle speed and all I could hear was the rattle of the big end.
Maybe I could un-even the twin scroll headers to bring back the boxer rumble.

My new project/family car

Like I didnt have enough already, but this came along cheap because of the big end knock, so I sold the Outback, bought replacement motor and got to work https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-1VSVV4rMqVU/VQ9Ex9S46iI/AAAAAAAAQGk/rNJSJ5oyPTE/w727-h545-no/20150322_165648.jpg 4 The new motor is sitting in ...

I think its just the key and immobiliser module that need to match, I pretty sure the ECU should be right.

You will find that there are about 3 - 6 wires that wont connect to anything, sometimes there are wires that are come out of the ecu plugs that arent even in the wiring diagrams/pin outs.

Have you tried pdftown.com?

I just tried and the site isnt responding.

There is a good chance that a 2005 or 2006 Forester might share a very similar ECU

What is the reason you are seeking a wiring diagram?

I remember seeing an rb30 and wondering that.

There was a thread on usmb years ago ( like 8 years ago) where someone did a flow vs pressure test on various ea injectors. Dunno if it would still be there.

Scoobidoo was bragging at some stage years ago that he had got to the limit of the EA82 ECU and injectors and rigged a fuel injector into the centre of his pod filter and had it come on at 10psi via pressure switch.
I had a dig at him about it, hence his hostility at my catch can in this thread

Thats exactly how mine was constructed, but I see your point about the one way valve to stop air rising through the rear block vent. Looking at it now I should have set it up more like factory so that fresh air comes in one side of the engine and the mixed air goes through the separator, but with on...

I missed this thread the other day.
I suspect that once at operating temperature, the water should be a vapour and make its way into the intake. My catch can was on top of the engine so was always plenty warm.
