but, you haven't got anything turbo ... you are asking the wrong people, hoarders and collectors - you need a guy like I saw today - scored a pristine in most parts EA82 mpfi just its pots got drowned in coolant when intake came off 9 years ago :( - yet to check valve seats for rust. Contender for r...

mm..can see how trade prices are set now !! Figuring sellers make more on non Bendix, many people want the cheapest, making it harder to move quality known brand stock. Likely more important on drum braked rear models coz the discs are working harder up front. Really not expecting any improvement in...

might just be if 392's can be fitted to all models, coz it is the shortest, and one of the thinnest - one less part number to stock [the DB426} ? Brakes are nice now. I did the Subaru tech of the 80's recommended loosen of the handbrake at the adjuster, pumped the pedal [sort of like crazy :) , engi...

well the trusted brake dude [ lived and breathed brakes for nearly 40 years now} reckons his pen written notes of 392s do the job, his wholesaler expressed would be happy to get rid of his only set of DB426 ! Yeah, Toonga all I have seen is venteds on Brumbies ! Let us know if you have all the anti ...

MV Brumby brake pads differences ??
OK, long time ago I wandered into a brake joint sprouting 10/8 4 earlier post had a typo - 10/81  Brumby, wanted front pads.He sold me DB326. They either did not fit, maybe did not look same as ones that came out, but anyway I recall coming away with a swap - for DB426. No problems since. Have...

keeping it in here ..been reading an eight page print from megsquirtII, must be similar to megajolt. Part of my curiosity is clearing up a diagram indicates that the VR sensor (sorry any nube, that is the pick-up / sensor or Variable Reluctor) at the crank...lines up five teeth before the missing to...

Was thinking about this concept you have nearly completed. There is something about L Series over the MY ( L Sedan 4WD V's 4WD Brumby anyway) in how they feel and handle on the road. I hope you achieve something that much better. So, when you did the LCA swap I am guessing you went with the L CV sha...

Sam, would it have been possible to turn out a recess on the pulley to take the 36-1 sensor wheel? I was thinking if it was a flywheel tooth job, maybe cut out half of required teeth opposite side to starting bash side - not counted the teeth yet. Be a good trivia question at a subie club night :) B...

ah yes, the old EJ don't quite fit under the MY bonnet theory, something I did not discuss with the owner of a lower than standard Brumby with factory wheels and suspension who just had an EJ turbo stuffed in there and no tell tale inside ding marks on the bonnet. Another thing about MY with EJ box,...
