I heard on a show once you do a compression test, then put a litle wd40 down the plug whole and test again. If it the compression is higher with oil your ring are most probably shot and if it stays the same but still under specs it is the valve seats. Same with this oil thing that you press down to...

It can be done, the value of your job would be same price as if you're buying an AWD Liberty. All you need is AWD fuel tank (it will have dual fuel sensors - whereabouts FWD has one sensor), rear suspension, rear diff, drive train, rear CVs, axles etc... plus plenty of your time to install it! If yo...

There are/is DOHC EJ22s... but I think its rare..... not 100% sure.

BUT I know you can use EJ20 or EJ25's DOHC heads on EJ22 block. That can be done... maybe that engine has been converted from SOHC to DOHC.

Looks good mate..

Clutch or Viscous LSD will do the trick.. (I think Viscous would be better)

Welded Diff - they're great for off road use, will be locked on full time while off roading but not good idea if you use it on the road because it'll ruin your rear CVs.

But If i were you, I'll ask that question on http://www.rslibertyclub.org as they're more focused on Liberty series, I am sure someone there can help you... But I am so sure someone here will be able to tell yo...

As Brett said yes...

That is correct it will, since you have female/female drive shafts in the Brumby/L Series. The Liberty ones has female - male CVs!

You need this E10 Deep Drive Torx socket to remove the stub axle from a open MY/brumby diff? Just insert down Torx bit and remove screw to take out stub axles? I just brought this LSD in question... Thanks Matt The LSD you just bought has circlips on the axel shafts so you won't require any special...

wanted - a manual for LSD Diff off from RX Leone or other

I've been trying to locate an manual that only shows the rear LSD diff (Clutch Pack) as I want to see what it has in it.

if someone has scanned images that would be greatly appreicated!
my email address is tmreilsi@tpg.com.au if you want to email me - unlimited size.
