Theres 2 hold switches. Im not talking about the one that makes the light appear on the dash, but the other hold switch. Infact I've never noticed that hold switch doing any thing before.

Try taking the negative battery lead off for the night. Once you take it off just tap the brakes to drain all the power out of the system. Today my brother was driving my car and he bumped the hold switch. When he switched it back, it wouldn't change up or down properly. When I got home and took it for a drive, I couldn't get it to change at all apart from a couple of times.Even selecting the gears manually didn't make any difference. ...

It was the Subaru club on someones farm out near Wickapin. They used to go out to the old gingin airstrip, but that was closed to the general public and I think it was leased to a 4wd club.

I've recently acquired a set of 98 Forester seats and am hoping to put them in my L series. Does any one know weather that is possible or how to do it.I,ve noticed the forester seat rails are slightly longer , but appear to be the same width.
