Did this size rope work ok? I've always used smaller size with the rope coated in Vaseline.

The service manual inside your glovebox should give you a good indication of what is require on your service interval but if she's been sitting for this long, I'd check the tyre condition and also run a bottle of fuel octane booster/cleaner. BTW, 4.2 sounds right to me but I like to use 4.5 as the E...

I've been using a set of bullnose pliers since 1992 and never worried about buying a "special" tool as the plier method works perfectly :)

Old school tyres didn't use the profile because they were all one size. These were all 75 profile, so these tyres would be 185/75R14 and will be a tad high but would be fine if you used rims with the correct offset.

But also there is another sensor on the opposite end of the intake with a bullet style connector (on the ones I've owned anyway) which has something to do with the temperature guage...although it can't be that important; mine has been disconnected for close to a year and there is no difference) Jus...

Unfortunately, the L.Series had so many different models of A/C kits fitted to them. I'd grab a second quote from another A/C business.

I have a few A/C compressors here in WA. Can you post up a pic of your one?

Good to hear it's sort and did you replace the front crank seal whilst you were there? another thing to check, is the sump gasket, just nip them up a bit but not too much, as it's a cork gasket.

Sorry no pics but have seen it done with 50mm round pipe for the hoops and piece of flat plate around 150mm square at the base of the hoops, then between the 2 hoops, they had joiner pipe using tee clamps. From the looks of it, it was all made using fencing galv. pipe and looked pretty easy to make.

According to his sales history on the 8 sold, they sold for $16.90

That's a bargain when you can get $2,200 off the sale price :)
