Not sure if this applies to MYs, but I recently found that it's dead easy to remove the metal frame from the seat cushion in an L Series, and it fits straight into the cushion of a Liberty seat. Original frame -> original seat rails -> seat goes in original position, without having to fabricate moun...

Looks bloody impressive Andrew. But what's that bar hanging down under the front number plate? can we set a date for a light 4x4 trial run? I could be up for a bit of that. My car isn't regoed yet, but I can always get a permit to drive it "to and from a place of repair" which happens to be in the b...

Bugger - another reason I should have found a manual parts car. I was going to offer you a brake pedal instead, but it's a fair bit different.

Should be ok. I'll let you know when I get the interior out (probably a week or so).

Yep, same colour as yours. The bonnet has lots of honky nut dents from years parked under a tree. The driver's side mudguard is very straight and looks like it's been (home) resprayed fairly recently. Passenger side mudguard is mine.

Give me a call/PM if you want to have a look.

Wrecking 1991 L series 4wd carby auto wagon

A mate and I have just bought an L to strip for parts. It's a 1991 carby auto, with a broken transmission, in metallic light blue. If you need anything, let me know. Available: most body panels (rust in A pillars, but all the removable panels look good), most lights, lots of interior bits, glass (wi...

SSS Auto Parts make fullysik replacement tail lights for lots of cars, dunno about Libs though. Available through most car parts shops.

And remember, Google is your friend. There must be some around.

Would you consider exchanging the LHF mudguard for my slightly damaged one + cash?

And maybe those roof racks too, depending on how much you want for them.

I could use a left-hand front mudguard if you've got one lying around.

I know Joondalup council tows dumped vehicles to their depot, then auctions them once or twice a year. Other councils are probably similar. The red leone was at a St Ives ERT training yard in Kambalda. All I managed to scavenge was a front blinker lens, before everyone got stuck in with the hooligan...

EJ coil current draw?

The sparky who fixed/finished my EJ18 conversion wiring ran an ignition positive to the middle pin of the coil pack connector. In that wire he put a 10A fuse. At that stage the fuel system was unfinished, so the car would only run for a few seconds at a time, but it seemed electrically ok. Now with ...

Looking good Dave.

If you need any exhaust bits, I've got a cat-back 2" exhaust for a 2wd Impreza sitting here that you can have. It's heading for the scrap bin otherwise.
