Go to RSR. Don't go anywhere near that Neil (seagull) guy. He's let down a few of the older members

I remember as a kid scratching off the dead plastic from the door handle surrounds in my mum and dads old MY.

Came out all powdery and fun to play with. Dad kicked my arse.

the 2.0l isnt powerful, but its far from being underpowered.

Steer clear of the late 90s 2.5l outbacks. They have monumental headgasket issues, although the majority of them would have been fixed by now.

8k will pick you up a gen3 outback with a SOHC 2.5l. Thats where id be headed.

Max-Trax are extremely well respeced in the 4wding community. If you can fit them in your car you should have some basically.

Theyre becoming an essentail piece of recovery equipment, no different to a snatch strap!

Milk crates and carpet just dont match max-trax.

id use solidworks to model it.

Solidworks actually has a nice rendering feature unlike 95% of other modelling software.

No doubt that would come in handy, but firstly t'was thinking of making a 3D CAD model to see if it can be done & in order to see what changes are required ... :D Note : I've also been tying to find an actual 1:24 scale model of the xv / imprezza to chop up ... :) PM me if you are interested in tak...

The globe is shielded on quality H4 kits with a mechanical hi/low beam. As long as the reflector isn't broken (ie more modern cars) and the lights are adjusted properly there are absolutely no issues with running HIDs in a halogen housing. Every single car I've owned has had a HID upgrade and I've n...

Your car is hid upgradable and it's extremely easy to do. Does it have the glass projector lamp bit in the headlight? I've been running HIDs in my liberty for 7 years with no issues. They are adjusted well and give very good light despite being in a halogen housing. I've never been flashed by oncomi...

Ferodo top of the range. Can't remember the part number but they cost me about $130.

I had them in my wagon running EJ20G with 29inch tyres and it actually stopped the car remarkably well. (had new rotors as well) they were very dusty though.

IMO the manual ones are too dangerous and are one of the main causes for engine fail but your car = your choice. wanky wagon was running a manual controller, i had it set to 18psi, on a cold night it would spike up to 20-21psi and sometimes cause boost cut. +1 for electronic. Manual controllers suc...

Wagons and Sedans have different rear struts in the Gen4 but can't remember what the Gen4 sedan ones look like. I've only worked on a few Gen4 GT and Outback wagons of late. Ask for some pics of the rear ones yehm im aware the rears are different in a wagon. They have a 3bolt strut top and the seda...

What size engine is in it? Judging by the size of it, it doesn't look like it would turn those wheels :p (33"s? 35"s?) Mad looking little thing anyway It had some other 4 cylinder in it or a very small 6 I can't remember. They are 37inch centipedes. It was a project and unfortunately never really t...

I can't help, but I'll add some photos of my own. My patrol towing d3v1l Daves scat. Yes it was tippy, it was way too tall and way too short wheel base to be any good. http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n38/little_alex87/scat/06062009664.jpg http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n38/little_alex87/scat/...
