On my Datsun I used red high strength loctite thread sealant, because I had rack spacers and there is nowhere to put the lock tab. I can't say how safe it is but that is what everyone who uses spacers does.

I will adjust it up a bit and see how it goes, then I will decide if I want to keep the lift in the rear or not.

Anyone been to any of the yards lately? Looks like there are 2 2nd gen wagons at Londsdale, but I don't want to have to go all that way to find they don't have front struts, as I am after a pair.
