Mr Toonga is sending me his sample, I believe shipping last week from WA, but not in hand with me yet. As soon as I receive it I'll send it off for quotation.

As far as I have seen all Brumby's had the same offset (+42 on 5" wheels) from 1982 to end of production. The 2WD MY's had a smaller 4.5" rim with +55 according to my 1983/4 FSM.

>Dont rush them, the rule makers in Vic have just made a law that should have done when traffic was invented; "From 2 November 2015 new laws will mean motorcycles and scooters can filter on Victoria’s roads, where safe to do so. Lane filtering is when a rider moves at low speed between slow-moving o...

Not sure if they sell the car whole, should be no reason why not. Probably would have to wait for the weekday guys to come in. Here are the details:
Imlachs Self Serve Auto Parts
Ph. 03 9547 7377.
My guess is trucking it up to NT would be scarily expensive...

On a 8" wide rim you'd ideally want about +28mm offset to be flush with the fender. I have +31mm and it's just inside, which is not a bad thing. +35mm will be obviously another 4mm inside. The easy way to see how +35mm will look is to add a piece of cardboard or wood 3.8mm thick to the outer face of...

Anyone looking for parts from a 1975 Leone wagon

Just saw Imlach's in Dandenong have a 1975 Leone wagon in the yard, VIN A64010162XXXX. Anyone need parts from this generation ? Probably won't be there long...

I haven't tried with the right profile tyres on the TT rims, I gave it a run with the 205R16/50's that came with the rims and it was pretty good but have 195R16/45's to go on. The rims were a right pain to strip (the primer coat laughed at paint stripper, acetone and another nasty called MKT we use ...

The only reason I would see 17s as being suitable would be if you wanted to run the larger Brembo or Liberty B4 (316mm) front brakes. Otherwise it's just going to made the ride harder or the engine work harder to rotate a bigger diameter. The original factory 13's were only 5.5" wide, and the wider ...

If you mean the one that goes into the side trim as it meets the tailgate, I'm looking for one also! From memory I have one side but not the other. I checked with Frog awhile back, no longer available. If I turn up a set I'm going to have some duplicates made. If it's the piece that goes into the en...

If you could get them in an 8" width you'd be ok, but 9" on a +25 offset is going to stick out at least 12mm from the guards, which means you will need to run fender flares to be legal. I'd also be concerned with overall OD of the tyre unless you're planning on running 35 profile tyres - and even th...

I can get case hardening done either locally or in TW. I'd be looking at 60HRC, but would need to bounce it off one of the engineers (luckily I work for a company that has a lot of material case hardened, and I also have across the road from work a company that does caravan axles with a nice sized m...

PAP Kilsyth 4/10 : No more 4x140 PCD Subaru's left! The tan 1981 sedan is gone, the blue '83 MY wagon is gone, even the standard white L wagon is gone. Probably the first time I have been to PAP Kilsyth where there wasn't at least one 80's era Subaru in the yard. Just a row of first gen Impreza's, f...

If you can lend me one of yours I can have my TW guys quote it up in about a week, and back to you a week later. They love to copy from samples. That said, a drawing with dimensional accuracy would be great if anyone knows where to find it. The supplier I use makes shafts for us for waterjet cutters...
