those are a fantastic offroad camper. very well made. and thats quite a bit of saving on a new one.

vms and hema are actually a LOT more detailed with offroad maps. they use full topo and raster maps, not just a little bit bigger screen.

but dont get the vms they are still full of bugs, the hema would be the way to go. but expensive for somebody that will use mostly on the road....

i got 2 units. a navman my75t which has been software cracked, and runs ozi explorer for offroad stuff. quite a good onroad gps with some 4x4 hema maps too. also run tablet, with mudmap, hema navigation, and motionx gps, MUCH more expensive option but is by far the best and most accurate, best maps,...

the fold in the tent supports itself, but relies heavily on roof strength. so for your sake i hope its secured very well, as ive had a few tents come back, and had ripped the roof rails off big 4x4's after 2 ppl sleeping in it
