R160 and R180 - name the differences
Hi, My RX had a big problem yesterday and the result of it is I've had to fit my wagon's diff into it to get it going. I was told when i bought it that it had an R180 rear diff, although the backing plate (which has been off and on at some point) has an R160 part number on it. I know for a fact thou...

Andrew has the idea... the MAIN factor that distinguishes the engine note between the turbo and non turbo is the uneven length headers. Putting a rice cannon / straight through exhaust does nothing but make it sound like a warmly tuned VW Beetle. If you really want that WRX note you'll need to start...

Thats the pot calling the kettle black. From experience I can tell you that if you do attempt a standstill burnout in a RWD MY / L with a welded diff you will not stay on the spot for long. The bad front camber these models usually have gives a poor contact patch - the only way it would work was wit...

Big tragedy, looks like the gearbox and engine have totally exploded and its completely stuffed. There is a gear hanging out of the gearbox and fluid is everywhere. Still drives.. barely.. considering it only has 1 battery and two wheels left on it.... Its stripped a tooth off the first nylon drive ...

Spotted the 4Muff rexy yesterday along Leach Hwy, came up alongside and couldn't see who was driving it through the tint. Don't think it was Brendan as I took off and it kept putting along. Also spotted Alex again today on Welshpool Rd heading east, gave him the finger but he was chowing down on som...

I too have one thats a copy of the Bushranger. After working at the Perth 4x4 show today I have decided I am going to buy a twin compressor jobbie that my work sells. I'd rather not name the brand right away because I don't want to be seen hawking / plugging stuff here. This compressor blew up a 29"...

So your rice rocket got toasted. This is what you get when you spend your money on neons, subwoofers and HIDs and forget about what really matters. My runabout hack has about 180kw. My not yet running offroader will have bucketloads more. I honestly can't see myself owning a car with anything less f...
