Fedaral Poolice use encrypted digital and do not use mobile phones. I'm not sure any of the police force uses mobile phones as they are not secure, nor are they recorded through their central control room, which is where all communications go so that they can be tracked. I guess all Police forces wi...

+10 will move the outside of the tyre out by 45mm. Standard offset is +55. Not only will this affect steering, cornering, geometry etc, it will also put extra strain on the bearings and hubs. Moving the rim/tyre out that far will give you clearance issues on the outside of the body too, even with ru...

Join up on http://www.rslibertyclub.org and have a look at the twin turbo conversion threads. Ask AL[RSLC] about them - he is the guru when it comes to conversions and especially wiring. Unfortunately most of the advice will be NOT to use a twin turbo. they are notoriuosly fickle to get running righ...

Not very helpful but I'd say drive it to go test drive an appropriate vehicle for your joint needs and drive it until you find that compromise. A proper rebuild on an EA82 would be costly but over a few years if you keep it would work out well. Factor in all the things like new lifters, radiator cl...

Thanks for all that. The body on this car is in excellent condition. It will mainly be used for taking the dog to the beach and maybe a bit of 4WDing (just dirt tracks and beach work). It only cost me $700 but the motor has seen better days and I need to change it to auto for the missus. I had thoug...

Engine options for an L series.

I have read most of the threads about engine conversions but would like to know what is the EASIEST engine swap in terms of mechanical AND electrical requirements. I have a 91 L series manual wagon and want to go to an auto as well. I may be able to get a Gen 3 2.5 SOHC and auto but not sure if this...

OK for everybody who keeps asking why FWD - there is a good reason but I don't want to share it with the world.

Yeah I read that thread but it is very confusing.

Don't ask why but it has to be FWD, so is it best to use an EJ box or an L/MY series box and use an adapter plate for the EJ22 ?

FWD Auto in brumby ??

Hey guys - whats involved in putting a FWD Auto box in a Brumby ?
Preferably an auto suitable for an EJ22, even an early model auto with an adapter plate will do.
