maybe lucky and get them out undercar. i normall use wide vice on bench with a selection of sockets. that said, the sisters sigma ones got punched into orbit through the tin roof with a 100t press, they were pretty tight! park car on car ramps at rear and you can pull tailshaft without dropping oil,...

if thats a reason to throw out a gearbox, better throw it my way. bearing places used to sell these sleeves made of stainless steel, you machine the shaft down one size and tap the sleeve on, good as new! either that or maybe there is a bearing with smaller hole available imperial/metric. you could ...
