anyone know the approx. weight/size for a gearbox?

as title says looking to possibly have a gearbox shipped across from over east and was wondering how much they weigh and the approximate weight of the thing, it's a v2 sti gearbox.. but i imagine all wrx would be there or there abouts.

you would be chasing whats termed gen 2 but the first generation of outback which is 96- mid 98 i believe i've done the it on my liberty wagon if you want to check it out http://ausubaru.com.au/showthread.php?t=20200 and there are a few around with the outback and lift which look really nice try sea...

outback struts and lifted heavy duty springs just swap the strut tops and a direct fit or there is a number of companies/people selling body lift and strut top blocks..

fog lights

i have a 1990 liberty gx which has a switch on the inside for fog lights which arnt installed on the front but as i have a rs front bumper and fog lights sitting in my shed i was wondering if the gx would have a fog light harness hidden in the guards somewhere...? which would save me some wiring

not sure how relevant mate, but i have a 99 forest gt exhaust on my gen 1 liberty and it was almost a direct bolt except for having to have a spacer put in (which i'm yet to do, sounds not to bad cut off at the diff ;) ) but it looks like they didn't change the exhaust track to much between the year...

where did you get the welding done i'd like to have a hayman reese type trailer attachment on my car to be able to carry the wakeboard-winch on it but wouldn't trust my welding to carry it , probably fall off and take out the front of a bmw or something ahah

so i've started getting codes for 24 (idle switch) and 42 (idle circuit or something a rather) which comes on onl if i have to sit in traffic for an extended period of time ( every day for about an hour on the way to uni :( thanks state government for the freeway upgrade) and drives like shit gettin...
