Re: ダブル クラッチ 1978年度作品
Wish I could speak Japanese or at least understand it to follow along properly...
Pretty cool old footage of the 70’s Leone models.
Cheers

Awesome, I remember seeing that clip years ago but couldn't find it again, thanks Bantum
That white car is soo cool.
Wish I could find the entire film.
Bennie,
The title: "ダブル クラッチ 1978年度作品"
Says "double clutch, 1978 production" or something like that
The talking at the start is something like
White jacket: where are you going?
Suit guy: to make a phone call
White jacket: there's one in the hospital, you are running away aren't you
Suit: what are you talking about? *something something* I'll come back also with the money(?)
White jacket: let me see that white car
White jacket: *sees the scratch* so it is like that, huh? Bastard! (something about a brother, I can't understand)
Suit: Ridiculous (something I can't understand)
White jacket: I'll kill you! *car drives off* Shit!
car chase ensues...
Could barely understand a word of the news reporter or the white jacket guy at the end though
I had Japanese lessons with a tutor for 2 years, some years ago now, holidayed over there in 2018 for a couple of weeks. I find it really hard to understand native speakers though because they talk so fast and slur everything into one continuous word.

Wish I could find the entire film.

Yes, Japanese is very difficult... I studied Japanese for six months and then gave it up.Silverbullet wrote: ↑Mon Dec 20, 2021 9:08 pmI had Japanese lessons with a tutor for 2 years, some years ago now, holidayed over there in 2018 for a couple of weeks. Yep - found it on FB ...
Seriously wondered what the film was about though, but I guess well never know what happened to the White Subi at the end ... :/
Cheers, Bantum ...

That’s awesome Sam. I “studied” Japanese in high school but it never eventuated to anything serious other than some basic words that I barely remember...
Bantum, I think the white car was toast at the end looking at the dude in the hospital!
Cheers
