what RPM do YOU get boost ?
Just wondering at what revs others get boost on their Turbarus.
On my 3/87 GLTA EA82T LPG with 3.7:1 5 speed d/r 4WD Sedan [and new valve springs] I can be in 5th at 1500 RPM going up slight incline and see boost light and have about 4 PSI boost and just keep going, not quick at this engine speed but goes and no shudder.

Don't know exactly because my RX doesn't have a boost gauge , feels (butt dyno) to get an increse in torque from ~ 2000-2100 .
It also seems to get a second wind from about 2700 depending on the load and speed .
On the odd occasions I push it uphill in high gears the light comes on at ~ 1800 .
Cheers A .
I'm interested to hear what people with TF035's and TD04L's or larger have to say .

No boost light either Adrian?
I tell you what, all the issues mine had as an auto seeing boost gauge quiver at about 7 psi, sometimes hanging on to second needing foot off acc pedal to shift up and the miss due to weak valve springs - ALL GONE now as a manual and new valve springs..
Dunno what you want to do with your rocket when finished and all that extra power you are chasing. I am so wrapped in mine in standard trim with the minor mod of LPG. Into second at 20 kph and ZOOM I am seing 70 on the roadangel screen in no time. Any more zoom and it'd be dangerous, and need AWD and faster gear changes

I have an leak in my up-pipe (yes i was a little hasty in my welding) and this morning i tried it in 5th gear,... around 1600rpm the needle rises above the 0psi mark and its about 5psi by 2000rpm and 10psi by 2500rpm.
I'll fix my up-pipe and let you know if it changes things

I would have thought 3500-4000 is pretty high - must be a reason for it .
Also thats a large gap in performance between the VF10/12 (hybrid ?) and a VF8 . 95% sure the only difference betwen the 8 and 12 is compressor inducer size which is supposedly 1 odd mm smaller on the 8 .
Also BTW can we extend this to what a stock ADM 1st gen Liberty RS does ?
They are unique I believe in that they had the largest end of the Subaru RHB52 family (VF12) and the lowest CR ? 8.0:1 ?
Thanks all , cheers A .

When i had the EA82T in my wagon with the custom up pipe it would pull boost (5PSI) @ 1400Rpm in take off (1St Gear)
