Unmarked Cop Cars

Guys at work in Toowoomba reckon there a few dodgy looking unmarked police cars here. latest reported is a 300c Chrysler with the wheels, looking like a mafia staff car.

yes i m sure that there was a old blue wrx getting around the it had the full computer in the center and the bloke was wearing cop uniform on but sat really low in the seat with a 555wrx cap on chasing people and draging them along Anzac highway.

ive herd but never seen it
that the cops down here had an old mazda rx3 with a 13b turbo transplant in it as a chases car in ulverstone
but it would have to be retired to someones shed by now

we generally see new falcons and dunnydores down here

coming home from toowoomba this morning saw a new crumble door ute light blue .nicccccccccceeeeeeee ride to .was sitting in between east and west bound with radar on lucky i was doing 100 .

I was up the sunney coast to day, along the new twin lanes going into Caloundra.
seen a black SS commodore ute with ricer tail lights as a unmarked cop car, had some poor guy pulled over in a skyline.

Also a black GTI Golf, saw it with a car pulled over near Morayfeild exit a few months back, and a black XR6 Turbo ute near the Sports club doing a number on another unsuspecting ricer. They really seem to like the dark coloured cars dont they.

There was a story in the news the other day, some bloke pulled over by a commodore with a flashing blue light on the dash, the "copper" asked to see the deivers licence. The guy pulled over thaught it was suss, asked the "copper" to see his badge, copper says it is in the car. "Copper" goes back to his car, pulls a U-turn and heads for the hills.

My 1970 MkII Cooper S Mini was an ex unmarked cop car. Baltic Blue with Crystal White roof. Only thing different from standard Cooper S was 1.5" SUs rather than the 1.25" jobs. Later models also got reversing lights fitted (????) and Tachos installed.

That is definately the car I should have never sold. Still wish I had it 14 years after letting her go.

yep theres a story in the open road
if an un marked car trys to pull you over your alowed to motion to the driver you will pull over up ahead where theres other people.they even give you a phone no to ring to check if thres a unmarked car working the area.

i worked night shift on road works last week .for our safety we had a couple of cops .there realy only people just like you n me they got a job to do.anyways this cop likes subies and he talked all night. told me theres 3 toyotas ,wrx ,lib.duba golf,2 ssutes ,ford ute, humber,comos n fords , one of the ss has a sic stiker the other one looks like a work ute.

I'm actually happy there are more unmarked cops in not so obvious cars. So many people doing stupid stuff these days I'd like their licenses taken away before they take me out.

I saw an unmarked car with uniformed coppers playing with radar guns on gnangara road in perth today. One of those spanking new wrx hatchbacks.

I still don't like those, though the bonnet scoop is growing on me.

i got done by that b loody red liberty, forp plate not bein properly visible, front one slightly peeled back of windscreen and rear one had been turned sideways, then tried telling me my standard xr was lowered and turbo'd. just glad i wasnt in the brum this day as dont know how much a bigger fine i would have had, 150 buck and 2 points for the plates, thankyou very much

golf is the most common i seen in logan/south brissy in black, red and silver(one with radar strapped to the back of it on compton rd).
silver lancer evo's (got pulled by one)
focus xr5 black, silver and orange
korean iload and black benz radar van
not to mention all the faldore's out and about.
bottom line is if it look's flash and is near new= check speedo and mirror.
