Replacement Seats For Brumby

Post by dukbilt » Wed Aug 26, 2009 11:11 pm

Hi,

does anyone have any recommendations as to what seats fit well into the Brumbies/MY wagons? The seats in my 1988 Brumby are beyond hopeless, and I don't want to spend $400 per seat getting them retrimmed. I spoke to the Subaru mechanic in Mitchell (Canberra) who said that most seats will fit, but that they don't sit centrally to the steering wheel as they're too big. Any comments?

Thanks,

Ewan

RS Liberty seats as seen in this fine example (Not mine)

You will need mod a few things to get them to fit, but worth the effort as they look great.
Current :
1992 Brumby (Future EJ20 Conversion)
2007 Toyota Prado 120
2012 Great Wall V200 (daily driver)
1997 Subaru Outback
1999 Toyota Surf (Beach Basher)
Past:
To Many to list!

KF Laser seats are a bolt in after one hole is enlarged or elongated according to a previous post. look a bit fat in the back for brumby ok if you are less than 6 foot depending on leg length
