Foreign guys touring with a Forester...

Post by DavesB4 » Fri Sep 25, 2009 5:35 pm

...

There was a post here a while ago about a couple who were touring the planet in a Forester and who had made it to Perth.

What happened from there??

Can anyone tell me where they are at the moment?

MY13 Outback - The new blue one.
MY99 Outback - As it's maker intended - but with a fresher engine now.
1994 RS Turbo - Not quite so stock! And freshly repainted now :)
And then there's the family Vortex - rebuilt, updated and now unregistered and gathering dust in the shed.
:D

the search function and 30seconds of time brought up this post showthread.php?t=13119&highlight=world+forester

Google doesn't show up much for "Subaroute". Looks like what ever happened it stopped in Aus in Feb.

If you follow the link in the original thread (http://www.getjealous.com/getjealous.ph ... =subaroute) you will discover that they are about to leave Perth on 31st October and head up north, across the top and with a plan to be in Sydney for Christmas.

I'll be following their adventures again.

Let's hope they don't get washed away or stranded by the Monsoons around Darwin.
