225/55 17" on +55mm 17" rim?

Post by AlpineRaven » Fri Oct 23, 2009 10:04 pm

Has anyone run 225/55 17" tyres (outback specification tyres) on standard Liberty 17" Rims with standard liberty suspensions? Was there any rubbing or something?
Cheers

I had to use the forrestor 15s and tyres on my lib as emergency spares and they worked on the back but not the front (or the other way round) with standard height unlike the brumby wher they fitted perfectly all the way round.
87 targa brumby (Neglected),
92 targa brumby (weekend runabout),
97 Lifted Outback (Dailey drive),
05 outback safety (Too cheap to pass up),
90 model liberty (was to be scrapped instead sold to workmate)
+ others.
