Hi all
Can anybody help me with this,
(1) Are forester struts longer than liberty in size and or stroke.
(2) I have been told it is possible to fit forester front struts using the 3 bolt top plates into a brumby, is this true has anybody performed this mod yet.
I have already fitted liberty struts using the original 2 bolt brumby top with a 2in lift kit, the problem is the ride is more like a truck than a car.
Any help would be welcome
Cheers
KERRY

Quick Answer - Forester Struts are longer stroke than Liberty ones - they're shorter.

Thanks guys,
I do understand the liberty is heavier than the brumby even thou i have the EJ
engine fitted, my problem is i am using liberty springs which are compressed even more because i am using the brumby strut 2 bolt top plate bearing under the 2in lift spacer.
What i was asking was if the forester struts were longer and if any body has fitted the standard 3 bolt bearing plate into a brumby yet so that i can get the hole placement right, if so by fitting the 3 bolt type i can delete the 2in 2bolt spacer, that should relieve the spring tension that should make the ride better.
cheers
