Post by 32ford » Mon Apr 10, 2006 2:13 pm

Today I decided to buy tires but accidently ended up with subaru number 4 . It's a 1983 gl5 stock standard, one owner car , that cost a hundred dollars. Rego till May 11 and with five almost new tires.

GL5 and GL10 are sedans aren't they? GLF-5 being coupe only.

GLF5's all had two doors, but you could get digital and analogue dashes in them depending on year. My 82 GLF5 has an analogue dash :D.

I have seen a GL10 recently as a Wagon. It was a Jap import, Touring Wagon, EA82T, AWD auto around Pt Kennedy one night.

I think someone else had a post here about a GL10 wagon, again Jap import via NZ to Vic I seem to recall.

Dont think there is a thing called GL5. GL10 is a sedan or a wagon - it simply shows the trim and option level for Jap and US models.

There is a GL5 up the road from me, and I used to work with a guy who owned one. Both I've seen are 'shiny maroon' (dark red) MY sedans and are 4 doors with sunroof, velour and mags.

I should have said that GL10 is an L-series. :)
