One of my 1985 rx's (manual) has got all black interior with red RX stitched into the front seat but everything else is the same as the other 2 I've got. Dose anyone know what the story of it is?

I found it intersting to read the faberit link pages above and the rest of the magazine test drive. Recall a former Subaru mechanic reminiscing on his work on the early RX rally cars, fitting different turbo, turbo pipes and boost controller. As usual, the cars we saw race and se race are not the cars you see on the streets - unless you hark back to the 60's

Does the black interior look factory ? Or just creative genious from someone since?

About the Rx with the full black interior: It looks factory made with all the same design and style, but does have checkered seat belts in the back.
Front seats look similar to the factory turbo 4wd auto sedan which isn't an RX (Any idea what this may be? It has a factory sunroof, air con and power steering?)
The only thing that is different is that it has RX stitched in red on both of the front seats.
