Is there any differances in the models between 1885 and 1990? my aim is to purchase a rolling wreak or unlicened wagon to make my 86 leone a 4X4, is this possible?

Sure is. The 1885 model had to be fed every night and was only 1hp. I presume you are talking about an L series. Then between 1985 and 1990 there were no differences worth worrying about for what you are wanting to do.

eveyting is the same UNLESS you get an injected one and want to swap the engine. then you use EVERYTHING (literally!) off teh injected car.

when you do the swap from 2wd to 4wd you will have to drill 4 holes in the rear frame. the holes are marked on the outside. these holes hold ethe rear diff carrier in place. you will alos need to transfer the centre driveshat mounts as the are not there on the 2wd body. replace all teh bearings as well.
