10/98 heritage AWD Questions??????
Howdy, Just joined up and need abit off help for when getting parts etc. Firstly my motor 2.5L and model is BH9AK7R, Options Code: TG Theres also B-3 on the compliance plate!. could someone help me out as to what do i say in auto-part stores for say getting brake pads etc. Iv'e looked on the net and theres that many models and varients its got me buggered. Thanks for any help. Bronny:)
Your complete Vin will be most important in finding your
correct pads.
But have a look at your brakes.
How many pistons do they have?
Can you measure the diameter of the discs?
There are not that many dfferent sizes of discs
and calipers as apposed to some other makes.
Makes life easier. Also, are u planning to upgrade to
larger brakes? Though have no idea what you may
use your car for.
It may pay to save on buying pads for your current
setup and spen them on an upgraded kit if you
have enough meat on them left?
Cheers,
S

If you are telling a parts guy what you have.
Its a Gen3 BE (sedan) or BH (wagon) 2.5 litre, 98 model, and if its manual or auto.
All Gen3's are mechanically the same, bar a few trim variations, and the headlights/bonnet are different between revision A/B and revision C/D/E
