Yeah thx Bennie , I couldn`t be happier , iam a little taken back at how comfortable the old Libs are to drive, particularly the seating, anyways i found this on car point and it got me wondering how come my LX aint AWD like this one,, is it a big ask to convert mine to AWD or not worth the drama..thanks mate/all

Stick your head under the rear of your subi, if you see something like this you've got an AWD, if not it's just a 2wd:

^ Right hand drive shaft is missing in this pic, but you can see the stub part that it mounts to ;)

Main things you're looking for are drive shafts from the centre of the hubs to the diff which will be hanging in the centre of the car, yours WILL look different due to different suspension setup but if it is there you've got an AWD.

Do you have two levers on the console?

If you don't have AWD but want it you need the gearbox, fuel tank, prop shaft, diff, diff cradle and rear hubs to make it all work. If you find a cheap donor car it's probably the best way to go, then part the rest of it...

Cheers

I now realize its a great deal different and the reasons why. i was a little hopeful there for a minute, oh well she`s still a beaut!.. cheers mate... p.s i also understand why the GX is more expensive but i`ll wait to get my hands on an RX 2.5 eh..:)
