Head Gasket, Head, or Welch Plug, is all I can Think of if it's coming thrue the breather. (Happened to me but mixed with water). Are there any other symptoms? How is the rad coolant? Anything leaking, or dripping? More details would probebly help.

Cheers Cam

I had a quick look this morning she still runs, radiator was empty this morning when I checked , Welch plug sounds about right or a head gasket, I was thinking of replacing the whole engine and using the current engine as parts

Best plan I think, if you can find an engine for the right price.

Run it for 30 seconds, shut it down and check the oil. If it's creamy you've got a pretty serious issue, it could be a seriously blown head gasket.

If you have creamy oil or it's super over full, take a look behind the cam belt covers - the one on the driver's side closest to the head. If you can see what looks like melted candle wax the engine has been seriously overheated, usually from other halves that don't keep an eye on the temp gauge often enough that continue to drive until something goes pop/bang/wrong and the car stops on it's own accord.

This is when you know it's really bad, especially if oil or coolant is involved.

All the best with finding a replacement if this is the case. I'd also like to add that this is a worst case scenario.

Cheers

She does not sound at all healthy the coolant is dissapearing , the passenger side of the motor is the worse , it has a bubbling coming from under the side cover , so it think its a total exchange job ............ I lurve my Nancy , feels weird not having her reliable little body there to go for a spin in the mud
