Thats the one hence the "?" after the name I gave, I just pulled them to bitsnncoolg wrote:"Stagea"

they are a nice wagon but not a subaru

TOONGA
It is a really clever design and actually is very clean and easy to replace, particularly if the filter does not have a valve it it, the oil drains back and the filter is basically "dry" before you unscrew it.nncoolg wrote:
Im intrigued by the top-mounted, downward-facing oil filter there's a mess waiting to happen
that is a six of one, half a dozen of the other kind of thing.nachaluva wrote: Cats before a turbo? As turbos spin up due to exhaust "impulses" rather than "flow" (AFAIK), wouldnt that increase turbo lag? Please correct me if I've got it wrong...
Oops.. yes sir.. Stagea is the one I was thinkingnncoolg wrote:"Stagea"?
Isn't there a Subaru Exiga of recent years?
not having read motor but i remember reading somewhere about the sti brz having no turbo or even engine improvements, but lower weight, carbon fiber bonnet etc, and sti suspension. Ii think with the brz that is exactly what it needs, not more power.nncoolg wrote:'Motor' magazine out at the moment features an sti BRZ, turbo.
this is what i thought aswell the STI offered no motor improvementsdobo wrote:not having read motor but i remember reading somewhere about the sti brz having no turbo or even engine improvements, but lower weight, carbon fiber bonnet etc, and sti suspension. I've also heard someone make the comment that subaru went into this deal with toyota to bring back something to the subaru line up that the original WRX did back in the day - cheap bang for your buck performance and handling. But this one obviously lacks the turbo and the AWD options.thunder039 wrote:the car has been basically designed for japan and the drift cultur hence why its rear wheel drive and relatively cheap. over in the UK you can buy a stripped down version ie no radia etc and use it as a base for drift car
I reckon!El_Freddo wrote: Watch the aftermarket performance market go nuts when they first land - new products ahoy!
Then watch the engineers run as the wave of toybarus rock up for engineering!
Yeehaa!thunder039 wrote:the car certaintly does what the wrx can no longer do, provide cheap fun.
there is already performance people out there that have created turbo's for them.
