yea its nuts, i didnt think it would sell that quickly seeming the ft86 has been out for a few weeks and is cheaper. rest of the 2012 models are sold aswel as the first quarter of 2013 models i believe

1200 kg is pretty light in todays market. Wonder if the box has little splined stubs poking out the side

I think that's what most people did, there's plenty to test drive but none to buy.
I thought the BRZ was meant to be the upper-spec, not the mid-range between the base and GTS Toyota's - obviously they thought the market for a $40k+ 2 door was more limited than a $35k. Or maybe the turbo version will be the $40-something (I'm thinking 43k) to fill in the gap in the Impreza line.
It's about time Subaru started concentrating on smaller cars again, the number of bloated cars in their lineup now is ridiculous (look at the current shape Liberty wagon, it looks bigger than the now-dead Falcon wagon). Bring back the Fiori!
