well there is was, driving on the pacific, on my way into brisbane when i found my old 1986 Vortex being driven by a Japanese bloke!!
My old vortex i sent to the wreckers because the head had corroded and was unusable. I expected never to see this car again!
It's nice to see them staying on the road, whatever it takes.
One man's trash is another man's treasure.
Found my old vortex

You did that to a Vortex coz of a corroded head??
Wouldn't be the first wrecker to sell on a perfectly good car. The widely famed Flynns of Cooma have a little sales yard at the entry to acres of cars.
My GLTA was someone elses nightmare, sat in a wrecking yard over a year, with bits being sold off it, before I rescued it from further assault by the fork lift shifting method.
Turned out I knew a mechanic who had been given the job of resurrecting it for a sale yard. He hated the thing coz new radiator and chemiweld would not fix it
I've clocked up another 100,000km on it
after a few new bits added
