Washer Jets for an '03 Forester

Post by EB# » Mon May 05, 2014 12:44 pm

Hi there,
I'm looking to source a pair of new after-market windscreen washer jets for my '03 Forester. I understand that I can get a pair directly from Subaru, but these are pretty pricey.

Does anybody have any suggestions for options?

Thanks.

99% sure that all the EJ series Subaru models use the same washer jets. I'd pop down to your local Subaru dismantler and see if they have any front end damaged cars that they will sell/give you the jets off?

Thanks for the tips there Toonga and RSR. I'm a little hesitant on the Ebay items, as I have bought the universal cheapies before (for another vehicle) and they didn't seem to work very well. The wrecker is an option for sure, depending on whether their price is extortionate or not.

Cheers.

The wrecker option worked out well....

I picked up a second hand one from a wrecked S2 Forester for $5. A significant
saving over the new price from Subaru, which I think is about $50 for a pair.
