Thats strange as it's visible on my screen.
Yes I unfortunately only have one of these MY Hardtops, but on a lighter note I just bought another Gen 1 Coupe :p

This is actually my car..
It was on display at All Japan day Sydney a couple of years ago.
The Vortex is in the family too.. It's at dad's place at the moment.
My coupe is a GLF-A, I'm the second owner, just mint original condition, except for the 15 inch sunraysia look a likes...
It has the JDM RX twin carbs, with airbox also..

Cheers
Sam

decide I would do something to honour the old girl as she was/is virtually rust free and worthy of saving!

Hey that's good to know that's yours Sam!! I really like the look of that one, as I said above it is the pic that made me
realise how good they can look, even in next to standard spec. :) I did wonder why it sat so good, its those 15's that do it!!
Feel free to post or send me any other pics of it, I'd love to see more ;)
Cheers,
John

Hopefully I'll havemy 1973 GL coupe ready for next year but, will have to be near perfect to give the Vortex a run for the trophy. Would also love to bring my EJ20T down for the supersprint

Any place I can see some photos of the event itself? How was the turnout?
Will it ever end!?

Well, the vistors carpark was reportedly full - of Subarus:)

I think it was a first for the show and shine , and maybe the whole thing . There were maybe 60 cars in the show, maybe same number of guys parrping about the track.

I'm sure it will grow from strength to strength in the years to come, and the vintage category will become more competitive. I think the demand for the selling Vortices about the place just went up going by the interest mine was getting. Didn't hear any knockers, was all smiles and shutter clicks !

Around what time of year will the be looking at the next one - and where might it be, same location?

Thinking of hatching a plan for next years to attend...

Cheers
