MY / Brumby GEN2 owner quiz inside
the three dots between face and feet vent...ever meant anything to you ?
Can't say i recognised the three dots being anything at all, so must reread the owners manual, coz just spotted in a TM publications manual [three hundred pages of Subaru factory manual detail !] of the first of the GEN2 that a certain vent action occurs in this spot if lever stops there.
Only just last week after about 750 weeks of MY ownership, that to stop lever midway between feet and demist - can actually get both warm - not one or the other that I have been using was one reason was starting to like my L Series coz it had a combo position!!

OMG I never knew it did that! Tried it and it works beautifully! Love it!
Not that you need it in a Brumby... I warm my feet up then keep it on the demister and it keeps the car very warm.
Cheers Cam

Really? Nobody figured this out? On other cars on the direction dial the points between upper and lower usually mean a mixture of the two.
Not that mine works anyway, the lever doesn't seem to have as much range of movement as it should and no matter where it is there's air still coming out of every vent...the Brum has a tiny cab anyway even with the demister on for 5 minutes it's un-comfortably warm. Handy on the 3 degree mornings we've been having.

My thoughts exactly SB!!!Silverbullet wrote:Really? Nobody figured this out? On other cars on the direction dial the points between upper and lower usually mean a mixture of the two.
Also, what's this GEN2 Brumby stuff? There's only one brumby! The earlier "brumby" I believe is an L88, or more affectionately known as the Fugly series...
Cheers
