This car now has a new owner : Subie-Gal from the USA.

She has also taken the motor apart for repair :

At a guess about 5k.....but maybe heaps cheaper as plenty of Ro Ro ships come from Japan.

I just bought a FF1 EA61 engine for $1. Just need a car now. I haven't really looked into it but I'm hoping the heads are the same as a EA63 and can bolt onto a EA71.

No not mine, this is the sellers. those beams are light weight looking at the seam and welds on the beams. My pallet racking beams are solid RHS steel. I need the extra strength to hold cars.
