2 or 3 inch lift kit abvice pleas help.

Hi guyz so iv got a choice to buy a 2 inch lift
Or 3 inch lift kit. But want to no is it alot easier to fit
The 2 inch lift. What modification will need to be done for the
2 inch vs the 3inch. Cheers.

same amount of work between 2" and 3" lift mate, both will need body blocks, extended brake lines, extended steering shaft. a bit of a kink in your gear linkages etc

Neither requires extended brake lines, although it's advisable with the 3" as there isn't much slack left in them after fitting, but still fine. I ran 3" lift on original brake lines for years with heaps of wheel lifting offroad abuse, no problem.
Agreed, same work for either.
You'll also need a bit of exhaust work to tuck it up closer to the body again.

Expect to be replacing CV shafts every few months

Ben nah really overall it's quite easy and can be done in a day.
You wouldn't want to just do the strut tops, without lowering the gearbox with the other blocks it will put your CV joints at too wide an angle.

It doesn't take long to fit a full kit. If your kit is missing the steering extension then it's an incomplete kit, you need this part.

2" can be street legal, 3" is not.
