Looking good JP
Today I put new front brake pads in the Brum, and got the discs machined at the same time (they had twice the allowable run out = warped) One disc had a huge chunk worn into it, looks like a big rock got stuck in there, that groove couldn't be removed but the other 3 sides cleaned up nicely, but they're down to minimum thickness now so new discs next time.
Here's a very poor quality very quick shot of one disc being faced, cut an old outer CV joint off and used it as a mandrel with the axle nut and a live center to keep it running true, now 0 run out when on the car

I am happy with how it turned out, before there was an AM transceiver in the glove box that didn't work and would fall out when you opened it.sven '2' wrote:Neat job - looks so much better when these are installed correctly!
Under the CD player was a set of guages with some terrible wiring.

The sticky tape joints are gone and now there are bullet terminals for easy removal.

I did the head gaskets on the 83 Hardtop. Unfortunately I just couldn’t loosen the exhaust nuts off the heads so I had to leave them on

^ Honeycomb?? Can't remember if she ran the analogue dash though. Love that smooth solid note of the EJ20t!
Now to save up to reskin the dash board from one of the parts bombs...
Cheers

I know that feeling too. Only mine came in the form of a surprise find in a parts yard two weeks ago.Silverbullet wrote:YIPPPEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!![]()
