Photobuckets stupid new policy
Photobuckets new policy because of the new hotlinking policy my threads no longer have viewable pictures.
Sorry about that I'm not paying for something that was free for nearly 10 years.
If you need photos ask with a link to said ex photo and I will try and find them.

Yeah, same here, Photobucket sucks ...
I've been using Google Photos for a while now, bit harder to get images loaded / hot-linked - Haven't got round to relinking older stuff though ... :/
Cheers, Bantum ...

I found these 2 x interesting snippets over on the SF.org Forum where they too have been hit by Photobucket.TOONGA wrote:I will be using Imgur from now on ... or until they do the same thing

Interesting. It's hard to tell if using it for something like this is allowed, since we aren't an "adult content, file-sharing, gambling, torrent, warez, or Imgur rip-off site." However, this line might include us, specifically the bolded part: "don't use Imgur to host image libraries you link to from elsewhere, content for your website, advertising, avatars, or anything else that turns us into your content delivery network." It's hard to say though.
I too was going to use Imgur for what pictures I have out there in various Forums, guess I'll have to re-think that strategy now.Well, imgur is the #1 image host for reddit, so I can't imagine they'll have any bandwidth issues any time soon. But again, who knows.
Hosting sites have learned a neat little trick from the Aussie Big 4 Banks, get customers hooked on using a free service and then hit 'em up for a fee, people are reluctant to big changes in their habits so they just go with the flow. This was how they customers hooked on using ATM's in the first place.
