R.I.P L Series

Post by Bunyip » Sat Oct 28, 2006 3:57 pm

Well it’s been a sad 2 months....... Watching my eeL gather dust in the shed. As the rego gets eaten up and the fuel goes stagnate and stale.

My L Series just did what seems to be the head or gasket and it is a sad time.

Its going to cost $1500.00 to replace the engine and well... that’s money I don’t have. Just before the big over heat I bought my macbook and that was $1500.00 I had saved up to replace my pc. If this only happened the week before I would have had the cash.

Well when you’re out cutting tracks, scaling dunes or just cruzin. Remember the falling and say "Lest We Forget"

I've got an EA82 you can have for $150 or you can have the complete car for $500.

I also have the same as postie and freight would not be that $, you should be able to do it for less then $1500 (i did an EA82T last year for less then this)
Toyota 105 Series LandCruiser (that nobody on here wants to really hear about).
RX Touring Wagon - fitted out for 4WDing (currently collecting dust).
RX Project - will be road only at this stage (and currently taking way to long to finish).
