Dual Carby/mpfi twin turbo conversion?
Dual Carby/mpfi twin turbo conversion?
Do you think, Gentlemen, that you could do an mpfi conversion on a dual carby ea81 then run two seperate Up pipes running two seperate two seperate turbos into two throttle bodies on for each seperate intake manifold? Or am I just dreaming of the impossible? If you could though, how hard would that thing cane? relevant other mods as needed... opinions?

The overall outcome would not be worth all the work you would have to put into it.
1. The EA series motors will never flow enough air to make use of 2 turbos.
2. Why two throttle-bodies, a single throttle-body is the last of your worries as far as intake restrictions on an EA81. The intake ports on these heads were never designed for power
3. If you are chasing power, you can spend less money on an EJ20 and gain more reliability (kinda hypocritical of me seeing i just rebuilt an EA82T)

i have met a fella who ran in a 600kg VW Beetle, an EA81 with two tiny turbos and twin carbs. He claimed to be able to keep up with or blow off a WRX - however, corners had to be planned well in advance due to no handling available !!
The impossible may have been sticking a WRX under a Brumby body once upon a time
