My free MY... Now what??

Post by SuBaRiNo » Mon Dec 19, 2005 11:47 pm

I just got given a free 1984 MY touring wagon. Im not sure what im going to do with it. It's too good to strip. Has full electrics, pwr steering, electric windows and all that stuff.

Not much rest in her and the body is VERY striaght. Motor is GREAT and bow and clutch are also in GREAT condition. Could be a portential new MY offroader for someone if only i can find a financial sponser and driver. Pics are here.

Dave, I take it its not registered? I will make an enquiry to someone who wanted a wagon some time back, who missed out getting Mikes before it was wrecked, and get back to you.
I have a set of 13" sunnies and good tyres in my shed that would look ok on it too!

What a score, I paid $1,000 for mine and it's not half that good.

drop an sti engine and running gear in it and leave it looking stock and you will suprise a few people and it would be a great sleeper.

Unfortunatly it isn't registered and has one bad spot of fixable rust in it. But without a financial backer to do it up and someone wanting owner ship i fear my best option is to wreck it for parts to get Hatchie on the road and help out other MY owners hunting for parts.
