14 inch rims in hobart

Post by zuba » Wed Jan 09, 2008 4:40 pm

Hi all, I will be in Hobart in a few weeks time and am looking to pick up a set of 14 inch rims for 93 L series. Prefer steel, don't mind Peugeot rims.
ROH told me they don't sell rims to suit & I've been told Speedy rims tend to crack.
Alternatively, anyone know a Peugeot wrecker in Hobart where I could try to pick up a set?
Cheers in advance :)

Weird, never heard or seen that, and we've got a lot of speedy steelies here. About 21 to be correct.

Thanks, I'll try pugwreck, was also told to try caravelle imports as well.

The reference to the cracking rims came from a wrecker who dabbles in Subies himself and he always sends speedies to the recyclers due to visible and invisible cracks possibly causing fractures. One bloke he told me about had the entire centre come away on the nullarbor.

If you was after a set of sunraisers then go to sparco. Got my set for $52 bucks a rim. I dont think that they are speedy rims, but they could be.
