Why dont Subaru Advertise
Ive noticed that unlike most other car manufactures, subaru dont have TV ads (except for the occasional end of year saving ad)
If it wasnt for the internet, i wouldnt know a tribeca was.

Well they're running an ad at the moment for a "luxury" version of the impreza and forester if I recall correctly. But I've only seen that twice over the last month or so, and yeah you're right, they don't advertise they're new models or anything.
Maybe it's cause they're so damn good they don't need to??? lol

They had that advert for the Outback with the photographer who was taking photos of the WRX during a rally race. Goes offroad to reach the other part of the track to take more pics.

I agree that they do not have to advertise however they do. I think that you will find it has to do with when and where they advertise and maybe more importantly which market they are targeting... hence why you might not be seeing the adverts on TV.
Toyota 105 Series LandCruiser (that nobody on here wants to really hear about).
RX Touring Wagon - fitted out for 4WDing (currently collecting dust).
RX Project - will be road only at this stage (and currently taking way to long to finish).

I've seen them on TV but not always... recent one was Impreza. But normally I would find them in car section in Herald Sun paper on fridays.

I'd say the prohibitive cost of TV advertising is one of the reasons you don't see it that often compared to other makes that move a lot more units (Holden, Ford, Toyota etc.). You'd have to sell quite a few cars just to pay for the advertising. We're talking 10's to 100's of 1000s for some TV ad campaigns. Print media is much more cost-effective.
